The largest annual inter clan gathering in Scotland returns this year following several years of absence, at the Inverness Highland Games taking place at Bught Park on Saturday 15 July.

Clan MacEwen will be joining Clans Stewart, Chisholm, MacLean, Grant, Donald, Macleod, Sutherland, Mackenzie, Macpherson, Cameron, Urquhart, Chattan, MacRae, and more still to be confirmed, at the ‘clan village’ as part of the games.

Clans MacEwen and MacLean will then preside over a formal meeting set to take place at 5pm that afternoon at Eden Court Theatre where up to 34 clans will be in attendance to discuss new initiatives and ideas to promote Clan culture within Scotland, as well as plans for new publications and activities to showcase the work of Clans and their Scottish societies.
